A Notebook Inspired Bridal Session | Michelle
If you’re a bride getting married in Charleston, the odds the movie The Notebook inspiring your wedding photography is very likely! One of my June brides wanted to get her bridal portraits done at one of the spots the romantic movie took place. Now, I’m not going to lie, when we arrived it was a typical HOT and HUMID Charleston day, the fact that Michelle wasn’t sweating amazed me haha but what amazed me more was how stunning she was in her beautiful wedding gown! She brought her maid of honor (who I had the pleasure of recently photographing for her own downtown Charleston engagement session!) and another close friend who were the perfect (and most helpful) girl squad. We played 90’s music pandora on my bluetooth speaker and giggled our way through the Charleston heat. We started at the well-known White Bridge in the movie (if you’ve ever seen the Notebook then you should recognize it immediately!) and made our way to a move secluded part of the Plantation. With the help of her friends, we carried a beautiful vintage chair from The French Eclectic to a spot under the live oaks for that typical southern plantation feel. The chair was the perfect pallet of pink to match her beautiful bouquet and wedding day colors!
Check out some of my favorites from this session below! & stay tuned for another blog post about their romantic wedding at The Gadsden House!
